status: Hi everyone!!!I went back this past Mobday to get my CT Scans and there was a 4 centimeter Mass. showed up so now i will be going back Jan. 20th for biopsy..Plus i had to start Sandostatin Shots 3x a day i have to give to myself trying to relieve some of my pain and symptoms from Carcinoid..

Kimberly - I'm so sorry for what you are going through. The only real advice I can share is that you get a social worker at your treatment center to advocate for you. They can be very helpful but they need to know how much help you need. Please do this so you can get some help.

Message: Hi my name is Kimberly Smith i was diagnosed May 8th,2009.This year
i have had 5 surgeries and now have to be fed by feeding tube.I have no
family here my husband lost his job last year and his drivers license we have
no car i have not had my Sandostatin Shot in 3 months.I have no hope any
more.No way to go anywheres takes 4 hours per feeding.What do i do my husband
and i hardly speak he stays in one room i stay in another.We have lost
everything.My only means to the outside world is the internet while i am
doing my feeding.I wish someone would help.I have not seen a Christmas tree
in 4 years.Holidays are so hard with no one here.I am on free charity cars.org getting votes to get a car but i am afraid i will end up laying in
my bed and dieing.When i had surgerie for the feeding tube the surgeon made a
fatal error i almost died 2 x i was in the hospital from August 10th thru
Septmeber 9th because they sent me home with MRSA in my incision and feeding
tube area.What do i do.Thanks Kimberly Smith

to me mine wasin regional stage which is what the stages are called for Carcinoid but my doctor at Duke Cancer Center put it in a regular Cancer stage and he said it was stage 3.My friend waited way too long to go to the doctor stay positive and it is curable as mine is'nt but Penny made it 5 years she passed a year before my diagnosis she was 1 week past her 35th birthday.Actually i had cancer while she was still with us and didnt even know it.But she was suffering alot the last year she lived

Hey Pam i live in Cameron close to Fort Bragg and my name on Facebook is Kimberly Cain but i will look you up and yes my friend waited a long time on the other hand with mine the doctor would not listen to me for a year even with me running fevers losing weight as many as 12 bouts of diahrea a day all evidence was there but he would treat me for sinus infections and sau i'll see you back in 6 months he thought i was crazy.So i tried to get my diagosis early but was doctors mistake for not listen
