I have been in touch with some else that also has this meso. They are much younger than us. He is 29 & she 28. So we have been in emailing back & forth or from this site. They are from the cancer for hope site. I think. Yes I have trouble sending things from here too. My email is rbdeiss@gmail.com. email any time. Betty

Hi, Betty. I got your other message, but I couldn't see how to reply to it directly. These pages confuse me a bit. Yes, one day at a time. That's all we can do. Saying a prayer for you and your husband.

We are back in Wisconsin. Had to fly home from our winter place. Roy is on oxygen all the time. We are also with hospice. We take one day at a time. Betty

To Roy's wife (your name?), I hope someone else who has more experience with that type of cancer responds. If you or anyone want to contact me (since I seem to have a hard time replying here—I don't know why), please feel free to email me at dmarietm@aol.com. In the meantime, take it one day at a time. I know it's tough.

My comments seems to disappear. Not sure how this works. To Roy's wife, I am so sorry they have not given you better news. As caregivers, it is incredibly hard on us, but our job is to listen and support the decisions of our loved ones. Of course your husband should take into account the doctor's advice and how you feel, but it is ultimately the patient's decision as far as treatment or no treatment. I pray that you will both have the strength to continue.

My husband has this mesothelioma. He was giving about 9 months to live-maybe 2 more months with chemo. We have been dealing with this since July 2011. He wants to stop chemo because of the side effects. We go to MD Anderson this month for a clinical study. I can not find anyone that has head this kind of cancer!!! Want it to all go away...

Caregiver's Corner
Hi, everyone! My husband was diagnosed with peripheral T-cell lymphoma in 2009. The doctors could not give us odds as to whether he would survive. He has been cancer-free for over a year! There IS hope.
